Turkey ~ 7th – 14th Oct 2018 (7 nights)
The Turks call the Mediterranean ‘Akdeniz’, or white sea. Others prefer to call this land of spectacular vistas the ‘Turquoise Coast’, in honour of its translucent waters. With the rural backdrop of quaint fishing-villages, Byzantine churches, and minarets attached to mosques, this hidden gem in Mediterranean Turkey is a delightful location.
Situated in the region surrounding the Lycian ruins of Roman history, and the mountainous rugged beauty of Butterfly Valley. Southern Turkey is a unique destination for the enchanted traveller ~ come experience here.
Kerala ~ 16th – 24th Feb 2019 (8 nights)
Always keen to escape the northern hemisphere in winter, we have visited this stunning region of North Kerala for the past three years. We really struck gold at this wonderful beachside boutique hotel. Accommodation is in secluded Keralan style bungalows, each discretely set in beautiful, peaceful gardens & all with a view through the palm trees of the deserted white sand beach & the Arabian Sea beyond.
North Kerala has yet to be touched by mass tourism & as a result the welcome we receive here is genuine & we always leave knowing that we want to return.
